1. Hogenakkal Water Falls

Hogenakkal Water Falls Hogenakkal Falls is the most attractive tourist destination of Tamil Nadu. Hogenakkal Falls is among the famous water falls on the Kaveri River. Situated in the Dharmapuri district of the Southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu, this falls is often referred to as the "Niagara of India". 2. Courtallam (Kutralam)

3. Killiyur Waterfalls Yercaud

Killiyur Waterfalls Yercaud Killiyur Waterfalls is amongst the well known waterfalls located at a distance of 3 kms from the Yercaud hill station, this is an ideal tourist spot to be visited in monsoon. The waterfall collects the surplus water of the Yercaud Lake and other surrounding lakes which falls in the form of a stream from a height of 300 feet. Surrounded by some of the evergreen forests this waterfalls is thick and rich during and after the monsoon season. The water flows from a giant lake into the Yercaud valley.

4. Catherine Falls

Catherine Falls Catherine Falls is a double-cascaded fall located 7 km from Kotagiri Tamilnadu, located on the Mettupalayam road branching off at Aravenu. The upper fall drops 250 feet (76 m) to the floor, and is the second highest in the Nilgiris (mountains). Catherine Falls is named after the wife of M.D. Cockburn, believed to have introduced the coffee plantation to Kotagiri. The native name of the Catherine Falls is Geddhehaada Halla, meaning "Foot Hills Dale River".

5. Kumbakarai Falls

Kumbakarai Falls Kumbakarai Falls is in the foothills of the Palani Hills. along the Kodai-Vellagavi-Periyakulam foot path. These falls have two stages. At the first stage water collects in huge rock recesses which are each named after wild animals such as tiger, elephant, snake etc. The Pambar river then flows .5 kilometers (0.3 mi) to the second stage before falling as the main waterfall.
